you can blow into this type of switch its the later type that you cant test and gets wrecked by too much pressure

right if the unit is still filling when you switch it off then its either a board or valve issue

if its a valve issue then if you pull the plug it will keep flowing till you turn off the taps

so it sounds like a board issue. it may just be a leaky triac which are cheap and easily changed if you can solder electronic components
