Re: What’s happend to the specialist?

If you travelled everywhere by helicopter and got all your fuel for free, then specialising in one brand or type of appliance could work very well, even today.
If it worked in the past, maybe that was because there weren’t so many choices for the consumer so 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the machines out there might have been “Brand X”. And a washing machine cost a month’s wages to buy, not a week’s; so paying big money to fix it was worthwhile.

Well we are one !! specialist that is.

From a retail point of view, gone are the days when you carried a vast array of appliances, struggling to compete against the sheds.

Now we just concentrate on niche markets where you can compete on price and service,to us it’s the only way forward because the supermarkets will continue to grow selling more electricals.
