i opend a commercial microwave once to find out why it was dead. had a bit of a suprise when i seen a mouse hugging the main fuse.

was called out one day to a machone blowing the trip house was manky so in i goes turns on machine tripps straight away.pulls out machine and could start to smell something nasty takes the back off aaaaah stinking was a dead snake the smell was overwhelming outside being sick went back in and the guy told me it had been missing for about a week .machine had been on and it got mangled in the pulley.told him not under gtee see you later :eeek:

Years ago, called to a GEC storage heater. Charge controller under the lid was faulty. I said to the cust that they were no longer available.
She said “There is a heater in the living room that I dont use. Can you take the part from it and use it in the hall heater”
Being a helpful chap I said yes, and we proceeded to remove piles of cd’s from the lid. Three screws and the lid was off.
There is a gap under the lid about three inches deep and three feet long,and 10 inches wide.
Lots of bundled-up 50s 20s and tenners. About 27 grand. All the rubber bands had perished with age.
She did not know if it belonged to her first dead husband or recently dead boyfriend. We checked dates, but she was a bit ‘upset’.
I suggested a cuppa. When she was making it I thought about sticking a bundle in my pocket ( we had not counted it at this time). I didnt … expecting a reward.
She gave me a tenner !!! Pity she hadnt switched it on and burnt the house down . Tight bitch.

Lots of mice across terminals. I had a cooker hood where the customer complained of horrible smell, they put up with it until maggots started dripping on to the hob… Local pest place said its dead so they can’t help. Our HQ said its a hazard for us to go. I bit the bullet and removed the hood to find the dead squirrel minus one leg, that was the rattling noise when the fan was on, poor fella.
