Martin has kept his head down over the last several months and has done some much appreciated work in the public forums, thereby freeing up the admin team to do some crackin work for us behind the sceenes.
For that reason alone I for one think he has served his time in purgatory
and I appologised to him at the meeting. I think we all have a better understanding of one another now so onward and upward me lads and that includes Martin. Welcome to the inner sanctum.Del

I ought to apologise for my off the cuff statements in the past. It was the “throw toys out the pram” syndrome that aroused my sentiments.
I for one can see that your intentions are sincere, and doubtless you were mislead to come about your sudden course of action. It is all over now, and of course we must move on.
I will apologise personally when we next meet, & I owe you a drink.

Is he sulking, dead, retired, out the country, doing a bit of her Majestys?
I noticed some innocent punter put up exactly the same title in the General forums. Made me smile.

Despite some of his seemingly ramblings, I didn’t think he was all bad, and I feel he is not the sort just to go into excile, not without a fuss at least. It cannot be denied he did do some sterling work at times.

K.Well thanks to the “Flowery Stuff” most of his readership will switch off part way through. I didn’t plough through it all.
His post has ended up at the end of a page in any case, so any new browsers will come in a page later, and probably won’t bother to track backwards. As an experienced poster if I want to get a ball rolling, I try & place anything contentious where a page seems to look like it is full, that way will be at the top of a fresh page & be visible for a few days/weeks.

I just don’t see the point as all he’s trying to do is draw any of us into a debate that we really don’t need, or want, to have. In any event it’s utterly pointless other than amusing Martin, it will run along the lines of…

ISE/UKW links are rubbish, it’s independent and neither have a say in it all despite hat you purport to be the case
