KeymasterSo, am I allowed to upset them as a Christmas pressie again this year?
I think I should make it a seasonal gesture to fuck them off at this time of the year. 😆

KeymasterRe: Whirlpool!
A little bird on the wing whispered something about chargeback figures and a witchhunt for those that exceed the set targets….
It’s only natural to have a dig about it, but I may leave it till tomorow night so there’s fuck all they can do about it until after the break, I’m nice that way! :rotfl:
And I’m sure I can dig up some more dirt as well. 😉

If you’re going to post on the subject of chargeback and set targets it would be reasonable to mention that quite a few who are almost achieving the figures are self admitting that they are fiddling to get there.

Fuck me are they still up to those tricks ?
Even as a spares outlet we used to struggle some months to reach the targets, and we used to order every Whirlpool spare from them rather than via a distributor whether the part was for a Whirlpool call or a simple spares sale/re-stock.

And even a different year 😉
This is the reply to my invitation to the upcoming UKW meeting from a certain UKW member who also happens to be the Whirlpool service manager:
Hi
Having given this some further consideration, i am afraid i will have to decline your invitation. Whilst i find this somewhat disappointing, i do not believe it would be benificial to both parties until such time that the web site is able to deliver a balanced and fact based approach
Regards
Dave Wood
UK Field Operations ManagerYou never heard of “right of reply” Dave ? 👿

No doubt he was given every opportunity to submit a response. After all the reply facility is there, unless he needs some encouragement.
As he hasn’t bothered we must assume he has no case to answer and we are in the right.
I had a phone call from a Service Force agent who is not party to this forum, as with most S.F. head too far up his own ass to look beyond his own empire. Anyway, he told me what I’ve already read in these pages re W/Pool and expressed his concern that Servive Force may go the same way.
Hence a national meeting is due regards the way they are handling spare parts direct to customers.

KeymasterActually, you should respond to that email and inform him that I have, on several occasions, contacted their own press office for comment both in the EU and US. Neither have even acknowledged the emails let alone given a response to them.
Whirlpool and he ultimately also have the ability to post in response or to contact site admin with any comment, neither of which has been done.
Facts, as he suggests that we have not reported factually, are only available if people deem it fit to tell us about them, Whirlpool do not do so. Nor have they, at any stage, contact us to tell us that anything was not factual.
So, in essence, stuff ’em.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool!
Just to put the record straight “Wood” (He disgusts me so much I cannot use his given Christian name) is not the UK Service Manager for Whirlpool – That position is held by Brian Moores and he has been there for over a year now.
Wood has a made up position which was created this year, it involves in the main van stock & trying to catch out agents with high parts costs. He does not have a direct connection to Field Service & answers to Brian Moores.
To say the least he is making a right balls of it & continually gets caught out by the very agents he is trying fleece. The rumours are that this is a temporary position & he is hanging (I wish) by a thread.
He once had the affrontery to call me English when we were all at a managers meal to which I replied the fresh air suits you would you like to sample it.
He is a Prick!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe an invite to Brian Moores or one of his field managers may be better received.

OK, here’s the reply I got when I gave him the scenarios posted by Ken above:
Thanks for that, i appreciate your candour, As you will appreciate there are 2 schools of thought, one is not to recognise it and therefore not give it any creedence, and the other is to be involved and as it were “fight your corner”
I doubt that Kenneth will get an offical response from either press offices as normally they will not comment on anything that is country specific. As far as the UK is concerned it is company policy that everything is dealt with via our press agency.
I realise i can post, but do not want to get into any form of slagging match, quite frankly i don’t have the time to waste correcting the comments of those whose only object appears to be to cause trouble and unrest within our network.
I thank you for the opportunity to correct anything, however i think it might be prudent on occasions to check a few facts before going public, i am always here if you would like anything checking unofficially as it were.
Regards

KeymasterWell after that reply I’m inclined to go with the diagnosis of Kevin (both). 😆
Maybe we should invite Moores, anyone got an email address?
