Grrr 😕
There might be a problem with that, the previous two stats completely fried my connector shields so its going to be difficult to diffrentiate between the wires. can i post pictures in this forum?? If i can ill take a photo of my situation and post it.
ps
Dont think my stats have spots on them 🙁June 4, 2008 at 5:59 pm #253331JacquesKleynhans

After closer inspection i realizes photos are not going to work. Best information i can pass on about my problem is. There are basically four wires coming down from the control electronic. Two of witch are are single wires witch i pressume goes to one side of each t/stat ithink they had green shields on but i cant say for certain!!. Third wire splits into two parts there is a white connector on the one split so i presume the other split also had a white shield on but again not sure!!. The fourth wire (might add all these wires are brown sigh they dont make it easy) does not come from top but is a little wire with two black shields on like a piece of joining wire. Does this help. ❓

Hi Guys, I’m back again after three years. My dryer AWZ 865 is on the Fritz again :(.. This time its not the thermo stats or the element..
I measured 0.7 and 0.9 on the two stats
I measured 24.9 on the element.
So that’s out of the way.. I went exploring a bit up the line from the heater and stats until I reached the control board.. It seems (Also not entirely sure) to be the relay connecting the element and the two thermo’s in the loop. I think its busted as its oxidised and switching part is black looks shorted out..
Any suggestions
