    That would tie in with the filter warning light coming on before the start of the drying problems.

    Just been back to this machine, customer been on holiday, the metal strips that SparkyP mentioned are spotless. She says that ever since I went to have a look at it a few weeks ago it has worked perfectly. I don’t know how I do it, but I wish I could market it. 😆

    Unfortunately the belt I have is a fraction to big. I have a POL66, the Qualtex alternative to a 481235818051 belt. Does anyone know the correct part number for this dryer?

    Hi there

    I think you will find it should be a 1965-h7, Whirlpool no. 481235818162 (thats if I have the right service no.)
