Yep, to give you a prime example, last week D&G fucked up and sent the “other” agent two calls in our area (we share some postcodes, but have them split amicably), after a quick phone call from him to make sure there was nothing untoward going on, within half an hour the two calls were on my desk. A quick phone call to D&G and they had a slight set up issue with some of the call centre staff and problem resolved 😀

After a quick few pm’s between Ken and Myself I am now up to speed on the story so far. For my part, if this was done with the full knowledge that it would be to the detrement of one of the members of this forum, then I am very disappointed to think that one of our own could even have considered it let alone assist.

KeymasterAnd I haven’t named anyone!
If it was in innocence, which I think it was in fairness, of the consequences then fair enough let’s just learn from it and move on I say. There’s absolutely no point in carrying a grudge over it, it’s done, it was sorted, end of story.
What we learn is far more important so that the mistakes are not repeated IMO.

Just to take this one stage further. I sat next to Mr Gobshite accuser at the Sardinian Do, and had a long question & answer session with him. (I was going to say probing session, but you are bound to take that one the wrong way).
I used the Candy example of when the work from that lot disapperaed, how did they manage and what about the staff? He said they carried the staff and pulled through.
I then turned the thread into an NESN discussion, asking if he was an agent, and whether he is affected by the loss of work recently. He was concerned regards that and then asked me questions regards my work providers etc. He was particulaly interested in CDSL. Therefore I painted a very rosy picture indeed. He told me he didn’t trust Dave Parker, and was happy that NESN were straight. He would not admit or deny any payment issues, so I didn’t push it.
I brought up UKW but he told me he wasn’t a fan and had heard lots of negative things. Regretfully I couldn’t get a lot out of him despite lots of common denominators as my Daughter lives in his area, and we know some of the same people.
He made such an issue out of people being honest, and he was above reproach & holier than thou etc. I was suspicious.

And all the while he’s been trying to blag postcodes off someone else. 😕
Hmm, very honourable of him…. and I don’t think.

Thank’s for all your support guys, I was a little nieve to say the least. The gobshite was actually sat next to me at a recent meeting and gave me a grilling about who I worked for and which post codes I covered!
I asked him what he thought of UKW and he went on to give it a right slagging off stating it was full of gobshites mouthing off, even though he has never looked at it!
I now find out the twat is after my post codes, I have worked hard for these and will not give em up without a fight!
The twat is also a (trusted) DASA member and treats a fellow member like this!
He is pissed off because like Ken correctly states “he backed the wrong horse”. Tough shit, he chose to stay loyal to Trubshaw and his army, he can now pay the price.
This guy can’t be trusted and DASA should open it’s eyes and look more closely at the tossers that seem to be making the right noises!

That is exactly why we should all get more involved with it. I know that it is a a bind having to take time out from our work. But I dont think anyone will argue that it was the guy’s in this very room that were responsible for instigating the removal of the biggest, longest running gobshite of them all namley CH.
We were able to do that because we were working from the inside, and were successful in being able to inject some backbone into the organisation and swayed enough people to back our move. We were so successful that when it came to the vote it was practically unanimous.
As you have just found out, if you are not there, others will be.
DASA is still a good information route, we should be more involved if only to watch our own backs.
We somtimes have to work for people we dont like very much. The same is true in that we somtimes have to work with people we dont like very much. But as long as we stick together and stay in control of the information routes, both of them that is, we have nothing to fear and we could also do ourselves and the trade a lot of good into the bargin.JMHO

Just thought I’d chip in for my first post in the war room.
Del was the afore said gobshite sat at our table for lunch at The DASA meeting on Saturday and dressed in a pretty shade of cream?
If so he & his partner were querying who John & I did work for. We also mentioned UKW & did not receive any reply which now becomes clear why.
