The program just sits there for long periods doing nothing once the wash water has been correctly heated. You told us first of all that the “start/stop and the ‘washing light’ start flashing” when the fault occured. Has it stopped doing that now Steve?
I amended the details in post #3.

Steve, when you say no fault code can we assume that you actively carried out the diagnostics and are not relying on an error coming up during use?

ParticipantSo far I havent tried to access the diagnostics as a fault wasnt being activated during the cycle. Do you feel this is a mistake?

I think it’s worth a try. Especially after what bigchrisoioi said. I’ve used it myself a few times on earlier models and it’s helped. Better by far than standing around for ten or fifteen minutes waiting for the fault to show in normal use. Whatever it says, you may have to “read between the lines” and not expect it to do the diagnostic work for you. Also worth running it two or three times if it doesn’t come up with any fault the first time, especially as I think you said it was an intermittent.

ParticipantOkay – point taken. Does anyone have a diagnostic PDF covering this model? (s4stevie@hotmail.com).
I think I’m right in saying that you enter diagnostic mode by holding down the start button along with the one next to it?
If I can get the info then I’ll head over there later.

Hi, i have a ZWF1427 doing the same thing. Generally sticks on 1.53 time reading,( but never when i watch it).No fault codes showing, just stops. I have tested pretty much everything but can find no faults ?
I would also be interested in how to access diagnostic’s as it seems slightly different from the older versions.April 21, 2010 at 5:24 pm #318068leavemetogetonwithit

You can get all these files off Connect’s “mediator”.

i work on lux machines all day…..i always use the fault code….30 seconds into house ( i dont do tea or coffee lol) i already know by using 2 buttons the fault code of the appliance…. as previous posts state, why waste time watching cycles….
however, previous experience and skills are needed to confirm faults, diagnostics codes can mislead….
good luck, let us know if you find code!
