Agreed to a point. I think it’s unfair to say they have no morals or scruples but it does seem to be about more and more profit with less concern on the actual repairs. 😥

thanks for that.
other posts seem to suggest lights 2 and 4 flashing would be some kind of heating fault but I know the heater tests fine and comes on so from what you say it would mean a new control board.
Do you think it would be better for him to buy new?
