Thanks jim for the swift reply. (The circumstances are that this m/c was damaged due to over voltage and I need to quote for insurance company. ) is the eprom programmed or do i need to program, cheers Paul.

Thanks Roly, ive had another look at this and i think the new stat i fitted matbe faulty as the fan connection should be permanent live out of stat but its cutting off with temp. I tried other connections on stat for a permenant 230v supply and there isnt any. The only other option is to connect fan to live in on stat and control fan from wall switch until new stat arrives.

Yeah Bazza it may help although I went witr for wire and thers only 3 on the stat ?
