    Re: Hygena APL8224/1 heater question

    Nice one, cheers Dave

I will give it a proper go and see what happens.

Should I be worried about not finding a reason for the old element burning out or is this something that will happen eventually?

    Regards

    Tony

    Re: APL8224/1 heater probs

    Hi Penguin45

Thanks for the reply, I had a look through the topic and it was pretty useful. I am not entirely sure that my heater burned out due to lack of water or even if it would burn out for this reason, until I get the new element I don’t want to switch on the washer to see if it fills with water. Not sure where the E2 bit comes in? my washer does not have a digital display to show this error or is it just the code given to this problem?

I have had a look at the element in the machine at the moment and I can’t see how it comes out. Is removal and replacement pretty straight forward? My washer is integrated so will I need to remove it to gain access to the underside or can it all be done in situe?

    Thanks again

    Tony
