    Hi can anyone help,

Fridge model # BL11.Intergrated larder fridge.Recently there has been a thick build up of ice at the top/back of the fridge.

The Hinges seemed a little worn as the door level had dropped slightly so I replaced these thinking the door seal was not lining up correctly.

Now the fridge door is in the right position seal seems fine , the light is on the compressor is running but only the top 10-15cm of the cooling plate seems to be cold and is once again building up ice.The rest is warm.

Please if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

I’m afraid you have a system fault there, either gas problems or the compressor is failing by the sound of it (as long as the door is closing 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}).

Worst case scenario if the compressor has failed would be a repair costing between £150-£200.

You’ll need an engineer to confirm which it is though, check repairs and the directories for one.

    Dave.
