Hi, been out to Beko wdix8543100 with no motor action, no fault codes, fills empties, drum has a lot of resistance unless motor unplugged, anything I can try to establish if motor or motor board? Thanks Allan
I have never come across a Beko washing machine with a failed inverter motor (except some early motors which had on-board electronics), but many times a failed inverter board, particularly on Beko.
With the power off unplug the motor then test the resistance between the 3 wires coming to the motor from the inverter (not the motor), if you get a low resistance or short then it is a faulty inverter board.
It is also a rarity for a inverter driven motor to electrically fail as they don’t have any moving electrical components but it is common for the circuit baords that drive them to fail – this applies to all makes.
