The plug on my tumble dryer has stopped the dryer working. Looks like the plug has melted inside.

The dryer is around 5 years old and I’ve not had an issue with it up to now. Do you think it’s worth repairing or should I look at replacing the dryer with a heat pump model?
Agree with electrofix – just change the plug. The pins on the old one look ok so I think it’s just the fuseholder that has burnt out. If the socket has no evidence of heat damage then it’s likely fine.
