I have a Lamona 8606 integrated dishwasher. The display lights up and allows me to select programs but when I close the door to start the cycle nothing happens. No noise at all. So far I have followed the following steps in order to troubleshoot:

1 Turned on and off at the wall
2 Removed water and waste pipes to check for blockages. No apparent issues
3 Checked filters clear inside (drained any standing water with a sponge
4 Removed front panel and door switch. Tested switch with multimeter – current changes when button is pressed so seems to work as expected
5 Removed bottom panel – No leaks, everything looks intact

I’ve searched this and other forums and I can’t seem to find anyone with the same issue so any help appreciated. FYI – dishwasher has been used for almost 2 years

pump is clipped onto the side of the sump

find it normally on left side. the pump body twists off but there is a clip that locks it on which can be tricky to find and unlock

once its off check for bits of glass ext that may jam it

Thanks for your help. I’ve removed the pump and it’s clear. Nothing in the pipe leading back to the sump and the pump twisted ok.

next you could check the pump coil is ok

I say this and above as i expect the pump to be the first thing that happens on starting a programme
