ParticipantHi all. First time posting, hopefully i can get help with my fridge.
As well as the constant leaky water dispenser we wish we never chose, and they’ve replaced 3 times now, we’ve had pools of water underneath twice now.
The first time i googled a bit and found i should take off the vent at the rear bottom and check the white pipe for blockage. It was in fact blocked with slime, the little trap door couldn’t open. I never got to the bottom of where it was actually coming from as i only found one hole inside that looked like a drainage and it seemed in a different place to where the white pipe was and when i took a photo of it using my phone inside the fridge it looked like it was not a hole at it seemed like a grey plug of some sort. Anyway i cleaned away the slime from the white pipe behind and a bit of water came out.
Few months later and we noticed water around the bottom again. Checked that rear pipe and not blocked this time but when i took it off completely and put a pipe cleaner around in there, some small amount of slime came out and then about quarter cup of water. I checked that inside hole again and it had water level with the top that wasn’t going anywhere and the very bottom of the fridge had a big pool.
So all in all i guess drainage is the issue but i don’t know what i can do next to find any blockage and prevent it happening in future too. I don’t even know if that inside hole is anything to do with it but it makes sense it is.
Any help appreciated. I have a photo of the pipe at the back and the hole i was looking at inside but i don’t know how to post them on here.

ParticipantNot sure the value of this forum when there’s no response from anyone including moderators. It seems all the latest posts are lacking any support.

ModeratorThere are various reason why no one has replied.
It could be that there are no engineers on here who are familiar with the product or indeed the fault. Not everyone visits the forums regularly as they are out on calls earning a living which comes first. As moderators even we don’t know the answers to all the models and issues.
Oh and lastly none of us get paid for helping out on these forums, we do it because we like to help the public.

ParticipantThanks, i realise you don’t get paid and i appreciate the response. Simply seeing all the latest threads with little or no replies made me think the forum was abandoned. Hopefully i may get further forward now thanks.

ParticipantNo we haven’t had any water in the dispenser for a while and it’s not hooked up to the mains so it’s nothing to do with that part.
I only mentioned this at the top as that bit I’ve given up with and stopped using.
It’s to do with the white pipe at the rear and/or the inside hole.
As mentioned i have photos bit don’t know how to post on here.

Moderatorwhen i try to clear blocked drain holes I use a long cable tie
its soft and plastic so it does not damage the tube

ParticipantIt’s at if there is a rubber plug in there when checking from the top but it’s not aligned with what I’m seeing from behind so it might not even be the drain but i can’t see any other holes from the inside.
How do i post a picture and I’ll put it on here?
