I am trying to identify a fuse situated behind the control panel of this machine. I have not seen it but the customer describes it as a `slow time lag` fuse. It has the following info on the ends of the fuse: BUSS T63AH25V0 and is the size (approx) of a 13A fuse.
Apparently it has been changed before (not recently) and the eng. just changed this component and was observed doing so. They are now changing it themselves (Nursing Home). I have looked on SIOS but cannot see it.
Whirlpool no longer supply these fuses but any 6.3a 20mm slow blow fuse will do.
I seem to get a lot of these in nursing homes and fault is usualy down to them selecting a small wash load and then cramming the machine to the top with washing. Nursing home owners want to save cash on the water bill.
Hi Guys
They also changed the fuse holder on these ones. If it has a black one it needs changing to the clear one which you thread the wire thru first then screw it into a metal end. Then the spring to tension the fuse. Result no more blown fuses.
