KeymasterI have a customer who bought their W/m over to NZ, going fine at home but 6 weeks on a container didnt agree with it When it faults the timer advances to the end of the cycle and flashes the prewash light once (according to the customer). Have checked it over, cleared the pressure chamber at the back of the drum and checked the tube, heats ok, but it doesnt fault at the same place every time, and as always when you turn up it goes fine.
Any help would be great 😀July 13, 2005 at 9:10 pm #141262clivejameson

First thing to check is an open circuit solenoid (cold prolly)….testing with a megger through the coil will sometimes force an iffy coil into submission, then have a look at the brushes for wear (or possibly sticking after storage in a maritime atmosphere 😉
Failing that then its a hunt for the usual loose connections after a long transportation i’m afraid

Pump is worn and needs replacing (impellor too much lateral movement and sticks intermittently then programme defaults with Prewash light flashing)

Just thought I would but in as I have a bosch wf2000 – have you tried turning the wash selection button to the “X” mark then start as normal the machine will then go through all cycles with no water and the pre wash light should then stop
