Stoves Newhome Range model 1100DFaDL. The fan oven does not switch off fully, it is always warm inside, i.e. cool enough to touch & does not get hot, seems to stay at same temperature. Only way to switch it off is to cut the main power at the wall switch.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    You’re having a day of it, aren’t you? 😀

This problem sounds like an earth fault – most likely the fan oven element. You will need either a Megger or pro help to check for sure.

Check Directories or repairs@ for an engineer in your area.

Power off if you’re going to investigate further :plug: .

    Hi Penguin

sure am – in the last two weeks, the freezer seal has gone, the washing machine started playing up and the oven is on the blink! – must be some appliance law of the universe in action! 🙂

Your expertise is appreciated. I’ll check the earth connections but it is strange as the range is just over two years old and has not been moved since it was installed. I’ll let you know
    cheers,
    Kevin
