    Hi,
I have just discovered that the upper door seal (fridge section) of my Candy CP2711F/K9 fridge/freezer has a split.

A nuisance since the extended warranty only expired last month.

I know the seal is available but how do I fit it?

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks

    Pete

Quite a few manufacturers show refrigeration door seals as “available” but they can’t be easily fitted, if at all 😕

Lift the inside of the door seal and see if there are any screws under there, if not then it’s moulded in at the factory. In theory they can still be replaced with the use of a sharp knife and much possible malicious damage to the door liner but it’s not recommended to be honest and I won’t even attempt to fit one.

The whole door is the solution normally, part number 97051940 but at £65.87 plus VAT and carriage it may not be viable 🙁

    Dave.
