    Hi all

Have no wiring diagram for this model, (before I pull it all out)

Can anyone confirm flo tube on display panel is suppose to light up when control panel cooling fan cuts in if oven gets too hot (after switching oven off) normally fan just runs for a period of time after. Not seen it bring flo tube on aswell. ❗

    Regards Steve

Don’t think the fan should have anything to do with display, as far as i’m aware theres a t’stat on the top of the oven cavity that comes on when it detects heat & switches off fan after it has cooled down, the display lamp gets a feed through the selectors, whether oven, or grill is selected, so look towards at a faulty switch if it stays on??

Hi seamy, my thoughts exactly. Does seem to imply that the selector switch has welded itself together on the selector switch side, so of course the light would come on anyway when the selector switch is turned. Must be getting a feed when toc cuts in when cavity gets too hot.

If the light does come on with fan its the first ive ever seen. Looks like i have no choice but to pull it all out 😥

    Thanks Steve

I believe the light comes on whenever ANY energy regulator is turned and stays on for a preset time determined by the module in the top cavity.

Probably doesn’t help without a wiring diagram though.

I guess I would start with a fluorescent tube and replace the starter which is situated in the rear (near terminal block), usually the tube gets changed and becaues the starter is hidden it gets forgotten about.
Possible choke could be faulty but these usually are very reliable.

    Hi Guys

    Thanks for the input.

Oven all works ok, light comes on when it should (when regulators are turned etc) just decides to fire up flo tube when cooling fan cuts in. As you know could be a couple of minutes after ovens are turned off. Unit appears not to have trigger board (partfinder Cd).

Will post outcome, back there next week armed with selector switch ❗
