Fit the IWMS conversion kit 😉
It solves so many problems 😀

What exactly is this kit and why is it needed? I have seen loads of Zan dishwashers with blockages but I have never been unable to sort them out. Surely the time taken to fit the kit would be the same as to clean out the old one. Or am I missing something?

It consists of a new air break, pressure switch, inlet valve etc basically everything to resolve the intermittent no fill problems with these.
But yes, cleaning them does work quite often.

Is it “One kit fits all”? or are a there several kits. If it is a universal, do you have a part number please.
Thanks

Not sure about all Zanussi models but I had one last week that I cured by cleaning out the gunge, however checking on TDS on this one model reveals two different kits, one for the “New Structure” & one for the “Evolution” type machines, you can tell which is which by looking in the sump/base.
Model was a DWS909

Is this what TDS info calls “The new ATB system” ?October 29, 2005 at 8:05 pm #152185Dave_Conway

I’m not sure about the “ATB System” to be honest, but I would imagine it’s the same thing. Normally the diagram shows a large bracket enompassing all the above parts.
There are a few variations as well, PNC is always required to get the right kit.

I like to complete as many calls as I can on the first visit. If there is not a universal kit and cleaning it out clears the problem, then how is it viable to make an incomplete call just to go back with go back with a special kit?

From experience, I would go once and attempt the clean out job, if it happens again fit the kit on the recall visit 🙂

On the TDS disk Bob, or they should be.
If not, let me know and I’ll check with Lux directly, I’ll need the PNC though 🙂
