have visited this machine this morning

    problems found:

1] select spin cycle, machine fills!!!! and acts as if its is in rinse cycle

2] select wash 60 degree, water in – runs for 2 minutes-then stops completely.

3] select spin second time- pump kicks in -runs for 45 secs-stops-no further action.

4] select other wash options- water in for 40 secs- then stops

have checked pressure switch- 2 stages when blown into. with pressure pipe removed prgrammes irratic

    any ideas welcome

A bit of a long shot but I don’t suppose the linking plastic part between the knob and the PCB has been damaged or fitted incorrectly has it ?

It sounds like the programme dial is in the wrong position somehow 😕

    Dave.

Wouldn’t think so Dave and easy to realise if the 12 o’clock “Off” position wasn’t OFF anyway. So most likely its either the motor or heater at fault causing the programme to shut down OR the timer/module unit is duff. 🙁

    thanks guys

was expecting a suspected timer… as each programme selection varies when selected a second time, nothing is constistant with fault pattern

any idea of cost new timer unit, machine is just under 3 years old so might be worth saving from the tip

Yes it’s part no: 432218 and fits a few different models too. I’ve fitted just one so far and the fault with that one was that the double pole switch on the rotary switch had dodgy burnt terminals. (So yours could be the same sort of fault maybe?)

Module (retail – including VAT) currently is £101.05 🙁
