My machine is 3 years old and has recently got stuck on the wash cycle. It has a timer countdown which goes down to zero but continues to wash.
I need to switch to rinse manually. I notice that the spin is not as quick as it used to be. Any ideas out there? NB I have checked that all the pipes are clean etc.

When you checked the pipes, did you also check the filter ?

Bottom right, there’s an inspection cover that reveals it.

Have a towel or two at the ready 😉

Thanks Dave but only thing bottom right on mine is the pump?

The filter is on the front of the pump.

Take a real close look at that pump I would….3yrs use is the best you can expect out of a pump and I bet the impellor is loose and wobbles side to side????….new pump time! 😉

Thanks, the pump is fine. no wobbles. Pump is more or less empty when I open it. Why would that mess up the cycle?

So if it’s not the pump what might it be? 😕

Partial blockage in the hose from that pump to the drain. (Tip: If the machine does not empty on the ‘Rinse only cycle’ within 60-90 seconds then that’s the problem)

Solution: remove the drain hose completely and rod/flush it clear!!!!

I’ve had all the pipes out and they are cleaner than the average pipe in a pub.
    What next Doc?
