    Hi guys

Just need bit of moral support on this one. The machine does not start up and there are no display lights up. I thought this was a doggy module connection in the start switch as it momentry switches on then off as you activate the on/off switch (6 connection) but went to fit new one today and is exactly the same so they must just use that connection to signal the module I suppose. Got both live and neut feed thru on/off switch so I assume this is a module fault.

There is no water in the base either so doen’t seem to be a float switch problem.

Have I missed something stupid or does that seem right to you folks? I have tried to put in to diagnostic mode but with no lights up it doesn’t want to know.

If I order the module does it come with set up instructions as my manual only goes up to DWF32 as I havn’t had to fit one of these before? If not does anybody know the set up code please?

I hate these new over complicated machines – give me the old timers, proper on/off switches, door switches and open base machines anytime!

    Comments appreciated – thanks 🙂

Strange as it may seem but check for an open circuit wash motor 😕 😕 😕

Thanks flyman – might go back and check that out as module cost is an arm and a leg, special order with connection and non returnable if it an’t the problem!

Been back and checked motor – that seems to be testing out ok – still think it maybe module but customer getting Hoptiont out under 5yr part warranty due to cost so unless she lets me know looks like I might never know the fault.

Thought I might have had a bit more response to this fault – just thought it might have been a bit more of a common fault that it appears to be. 😮

By the way does anybody know what the third pair of contacts do on the main on/off switch as they only make momentarily when you switch on or off?

    Thanks 🙂
