Or they may have one in stock which you can try in for handling charge only (£4.70) if it turns out to be mis-diagnosis.

Timer doesnt have much to do with the spin on that model – all the speeds & direction control is done via the module, it may be worth checking the manifold/air chambers if you havent already done so. The one on the manifold is prone to blocking on this range and will cause spin problems.
