Employees of German house appliances factory AEG in Nuremberg protest against plans of transferring production to Poland.
Swedish concern Electrolux decided to close down the Nuremberg factory by the end of 2007 due to high labour costs.
According to spokesman of Electrolux the company loses up to 60 euro on each dishwasher or a washing machine produced in Germany while the production exceeds 1,5 million appliances. German trade unions claim they are ready to fight to preserve 1700 jobs in AEG.
