There are again talks about Electolux’s Italian operation in Italy ith new reports of factory worker’s salaries being reduced in order to make the plant viable. 

Electrolux To Shed 1700 Jobs

Bloomberg reports that Electrolux will cut close to 1,700 jobs and take a charge of 1.6 billion Swedish kronor ($164 million, we’d give it in £ but that’s a guess these days with Brexit) to reduce spending as the appliance maker battles increased raw material and tariff costs.

US Ovens Recalled

Built in ovens or electric wall ovens as they are known in the US that were made by Electrolux and sold through Sears retailers Stateside are being recalled due to a risk of posing a fire hazard.
