    Hi,

Can someone confirm that the start relay also brings in the heater (or not). I have no wiring diagram.

The cut outs and heater are fine. Float microswitch sump empty. I trace the leads back to the relay so am assuming that this controls the heater cct also.

Is the relay a known potential `no heat` fault or is ti the timer?

    Thanks

    Laurence

It won’t be the relay 😉

Either the thermostat in the front bearing housing/door area or possibly the timer.

Lets clear one thing up first, I think we are talking Creda here and not Hotpoint (Creda T620CW)

The fault more than certain is NOT the Relay in this case but the Timer (1702509) as the heat switch terminal burns out on these beasts more often as not 😉

The only fault the Relay can give you is not starting or starts up then stops after a minute or two.

    Thanks Martin/Dave,

You are quite right, it is a Creda – brain to finger trouble 😳 .

    Thanks for the insight.
