It seems that I have a blockage in the matrix , do I need to remove and clean this matrix or is there another easier method of cleaning?

If removal is needed then Is it easily done, could you give me the sequence of evens to remove and replace this unit.

promise to do it with the power disconnected and will not hold anyone responsible for any consequences.

    Many thanks in anticipation,

Gerry, if you could post the model number then we might be able to help a bit more.

Unfortunately no, we can’t. We can give you some general pointers but when things become technical we can’t give you a blow-by-blow account of how to do it.

Regardless of your own disclaimer any other browser of this thread would receive the same instructions and they might not be so forgiving.

Generally it’s a side off, get a little wet job that only requires a screwdriver. The hardest part is usually getting the machine in and out.

Thanks NWAR for the nudge in the right direction, sorry I didn’t supply the model number — it’s a DWI64 type 12033
