ParticipantHi
I have just replaced the Controller Module on my GW603-U Product 93975 Serial No: RAL622923 due to an internal fault. It now comes up with the LEDS 1101001 and the Slow and Hold LEDs on. Any help would be appreciated.Ian

ParticipantSorry the correct error code on power up is 1010001. The controller module part the store gave me was 426204P. They said the one I had was superseded. If some one want to email me direct.
ian.turner@iinet.net.auThanks

Error code should read 8 digits – can’t recognise either of the ones you’ve posted. However, the new board needs to be accurately located on the plungers in order to activate size switches. Additionally: Hold down “Start/Pause”, then push “Power”. Count to 10, power off. This should reset the size in the EEPROM in the computer.
If no joy, run diagnostics and post the 8 lamps, right to left.

Where are these plungers? I puchased a new module that came in the yellow casing. I can’t seem to get it into any modes. The only error codes I get up left to right are as I mentioned. 01010001 and 01101001. Start?Pause and Power hold down doesn’t seem to work either. Help!!

Right, now you’re talking….. These are comms errors between the motor board and the display board. Beyond checking for continuity/correct location of connectors, it all gets a bit technical – either board could be causing the problem. I’d start by asking them to exchange the new board – if you’ve still got problems it’ll have to be the display board.
Time for pro help perhaps?

Thanks for the help. In the beginning before I replaced the Controller module, the fuse blew and I inspected the controller module and the PCB was slightly cooked. Do you think this may have taken out the display module? I will go to the store tomorrow and ask for a replacement module.

Can’t speak with great authority on that one. However, we have an endemic problem over here with Zanussi front loaders – when the main board blows, it’s a 50/50 that it’ll take the display board out as well – gets horribly expensive.
Good luck,

Just been to the spare parts store. Supplied me another new controller module. He tells me I do need a new display module to work with the new controller module. But they have no stock until next week. Will have to wait until then as the washing piles up.
