    I have a Whirlpool DWF415 and it aint working !!

    If I select a programme and press the button machine starts to fill. (I have opened the door to check this).

    After about 15 seconds the machine stops filling and I get a flash code = 6.

    The machine just stays flash the code but does nothing else.

    If I then keep my finger on the start button the machine starts to drain and stops shortly after.

    I understand the flash code 6 relates to the water inlet but water is getting in.

    Could the problem be further down the chain i.e. the PCB ??

    Any help would be fantastic !! 😀

    It’s likely to be a flow meter problem (hopefully not the PCB) which isn’t an overly expensive repair 🙂

    Check the repairs@ link below for an engineer if you’d like confirmation.

    Thanks Dave !!

    You suggest that it may be a flow meter !! High chance do you think 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} + ??. It’s just that I will have to make the repair myself as moneys tight.

    I’ve just bought a new oven as that decided to give up 3 days before the dish washer did.

    Bought these items at the same time too.. Just waiting for the washing machines to go now for a hat trick !!

    I won’t be able to pin point it exactly as it may be related to the flow meter rather than it failing iself (cables etc).

    Is there a part number, what does it look like, is it easy to fit, where can I find it !!
