The German Bosch Group, having operated in Turkey for 96 years, plans to make an investment of €125 million in 2006.

Bosch; manufacturing automotive technologies, white goods, automation technologies and heating systems in Bursa, exports to more than 30 countries.

Bosch Turkey General Manager Gurcan Karakas, said the company, which manufactures and sells electric household goods, building security systems and Blaupunkt sound and image systems, will increase their total investment from €125 million in 2004 to €229 million in 2005.

“Our investment target for 2006 is to surpass €125 million,” Karakas said.

Bosch continues to grow by increasing its investments, contributing to the Turkish economy with its accumulating turnover and its confident view of the future, the Bosh manager added; the investment figures also reveal Bosch’s confidence in Turkey and its recent success, with €1.2 billion from a total of €634 million of the company’s total annual turnover flowing from domestic sales.

Bosh plans to increase its turnover by eight percent, exports by 11 percent and employment by 15 percent in 2006.
