    IVE JUST REPLACED THE HINGES ON THIS MODEL IT HAD STRINGS AND SPRINGS THE SPRINGS HAD SNAPPED AND IT BENT THE HINGES BELLING SENT ME SOME HINGES PART NO 246025700 &246025800 THEY ARE A BIT DIFFERENT THERE IS A BAR ACROSS THE HINGE TO STOP IT GOING TOO FAR DOWN SO THE STRINGS ARE’NT NEEDED BUT THE SPRING IS TOO SHORT ON ITS OWN IS THERE A REPLACEMEMT SPRING FOR THIS IM GUESSING ITS A MODIFICATION IF NOT THEY HAVE SENT THE WRONG PART (IM PRAYING ITS A MOD ITS MUCH BETTER THAN THOSE DAFT STRINGS)

    We do a version for that for MFI and, as we still use the strings, reckon you may have the wrong hinges there.

    Those are Merloni (Servis) part numbers, if you look at the picture of the dishwasher:

    That’s a Smeg isn’t it ? 😀

    belling had sent old stock by mistake the strings and springs are ok
