I am building an extension to my house which will include a new kitchen and utility. Is it usual / preferable / regs to have a new gas feed pipe installed below the floor, or should it be installed later? This is for the cooker and boiler.
I am aware the work must be done by a Corgi engineer, but some advice at this stage would be helpful (ie. before I lay the concrete floors). Also, would the engineer nowadays install plastic or metal pipe?
Thank you.
Ian.
