    A Bosch S5C27B (details below) won’t fill. Therefore it gets stuck at the initial fill stage. When turning it off and on at this point there is a faint “chonk” noise which may indicate a solenoid opening up. Some water gets in but not a lot.

    Pumping out seems to be OK.

    It’s just been moved which may have upset it. There is water in the pipes – a washing machine on the same pipework is working fine.

    Is there a likely fault? If not, what would the likely charge be for a callout (in Lancaster).

    Just moved mmm I would check for trapped or kinked hoses. Check that the valve is really on and not jsut in appearance as the plastic taps round on the brass locater.
