    The door to my washer/dryer has decided it will only close properly when it wants to. A good nudge use to fixed it but it is now dead. The latch/lock is not hooking!!

    Is this something i can replace myself?

    Could you check that model number please, it’s either very old or incorrect 😉

    It does exist!!!

    Its in the flat i rent so will be at least 5 years old.

    I wasn’t doubting the existence of the appliance but the model number does not exist, it’s incorrect I’m afraid.

    First Dave, re read my post and it does sound a bit offish, sorry.

    Now for the humble pie you are correct the model is awg 320/2.

    If i have not brunt all my bridges any advice?

    Almost certainly a door lock failure. P/no 4819 280 48012 – there is I think a pattern alternative which might save a few bob – Dave’ll know! He’s always right, BTW. 😀

    I think there is a pattern one as well as the appliance is made by Merloni so essentially it’s a Servis in disguise 🙂

    But, the Whirlpool one appears to have 5 terminals and the alternatives only the normal 3 😕

    If you are going further to investigate yourself hobobell (with the power off :zap:) can you confirm please.
