Liebherr Fridge Compressor Not Running.

Hello all, I have a Liebherr Refrigerator Model Number KSVES3660, Serial Number- 0972272-00. It is just over two years old and Liebherr have refused a warranty claim despite it being JUST out of warranty.

The internal light is working, so the fuse is OK. The fridge is not cooling down at all, the compressor refuses to run. The only knob or switch is a temperature control selector on the front panel. Turning it to full doesn’t start the compressor. Seeing as it is only two years old I don’t believe the compressor will be faulty. So I suspect that the temperature controller has failed. I have found that there is a sensor inside the fridge compartment with what seems to be a capilliary tube running up to the controller/switch but I ran out of time yesterday to strip in down and confirm this.

I’m thinking I need the capilliary tube and the temperature controller/switch assembly ❓

Where can I order one ready to fit when I get home one evening please ❓ It seems Liebherr spares aren’t readily available, but surely it is a common part anmd NOT Liebherr exclusive ❓

Finally, I feel ripped off buying this machine. It cost a fortune and has now failed on me. It seems price is no indicator of quality these days ❓ I threw away on old Scandinova that was a bit rusty but otherwise 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} reliable when I bought the Liebherr.
