    Hi,

    I’m having a problem with the dryer not turning the drum.
    If I remove the top cover I can start it by giving the drum a push.
    Am I correct in thinking this is a fault with the capacitor on the side of the motor? If so is this a replacable part or will I need to buy a new motor. I have checked the drum for tight/worn bearings, no problem found.

    It sounds very much like it!

    The capacitor is available here!

    Power off before fixing, please!
