Cycle starts,usually left on overnight and emptied in morning. Got up in morning and the cycle had not completed.
The water was still very hot in the base of the unit.
Tried to continue but the water just kept boiling.Changed
cycle and ran rinse cycle. Dishwasher emptied boiling water
and stopped with cycle end buzzer sounding.Cycles will start running but just fill washer with water and
continue to heat up.😕 Any advice?

Are you getting any lights flashing on the control panel ?
This may help by way of a fault code.

The only lights on are the power and the salt regeneration light.
I have never used salt (soft water area) and the light has always been on.
I ran the wash cycles with the door open (interlock on) and it seemed to drain first, take in water, heat the water and keep on doing so. I could hear the (presumably) thermocouple kicking inb and the heat element going on & off.
Most notably the rotating arms had no water coming through them and not spinning.
Is there a faulty pump that should be forcing the water through the arms?

Yes, it sounds like the circulation motor has a problem but at around £150 it is worth getting it double checked by an engineer if you’re unsure. Try the repairs@ link below 🙂
If you do need a spare, come back and let us know. Power off if you do check yourself please :zap:
