Possiblities:
1) Pump jammed by blockage – no parts required – strip down and clear. You engineer will bill for at least an hour – if it’s integrated, an hour and a half unless you remove the appliance from the housing in advance.
2) Motor failing to start due to capacitor failure (Can you hear a faint humming?). Capacitor £15-£25 depending on exactly which one required. Labour as above.
3) Motor failed. Nasty – certainly over £100 for pump, labour as above.
However, SMEG is a decent enough brand, so worth having investigated. Do check out the labour rates when you make your call to the engineers.
