    please can someone help me. I took the door off my cooker to clean it and i cant get it back on. My mum and dad sister and her two children and my boyfriend are coming to stay with me from tomorrow for a fortnight – i cant be without an oven

    aye dave i have but the hinge on the arrow thing doesnt appear to have a wee clip – it has a spring but i cant see how to hold it back to get it to slide inside the hole for the hinge.


    Im a strong independant assertive women you would thing a cooker door wouldsnt be beyond my abilities grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    If there’s no clip which most Teba/Arrow ovens didn’t have, you need to hold the hinges down pushing against the spring while you fit the hinge back in I’m afraid. Both at the same time as well 🙁

    Hi Squidge
    some of the arrow/teba ovens required a pin to lock the hinge in place before you removed the door, they did come with the appliance but no doubt they have been lost, two small wire nails abt 1 ince long will do the trick. open the hinge using a towl to stop it hurting your fingers and be careful not to trap your fingers, when fully open you will see a small hole, just insert the small nail and repeat for the other side, refit the door take out the nails and you are sorted. 😀
