Is this the same as the Zanussi 1000 spin kit, i.e. 6204 & 6205? I seem to recall some Tricity Bendix models having smaller bearings.

I think this may be a 6205 and a 6206 for this model, the sizes are:

    1 of 30X62X16
    1 of 25X52X15

I don’t have a bearing at hand to measure but that should help 🙂

    Dave.

Thanks Dave, looks like it won’t be a viable repair then as the seal from Connect is £9.40 + VAT special order and the spider is megga bucks. It is a drum out the top job so I would have to charge extra labour anyway.

    Re: Bendix BIW100 Bearing Kit

Customer decided to get a new machine so I took the Bendix for reconditioning. I’ve not stripped it yet but did take off the pulley and the outer bearing is a 6204 i.e. 20 x 47 x 14. So it looks like it is the standard Zanussi setup. Electrolux group always were bad for giving the wrong information on bearings, spiders etc. 🙁

Just looked it up on TDS – pnc 91420300900 – and it’s all listed for the 6204/5 set up.

There are two other BIWs listed – BIW100Ws, but these are split case machines with the big bearing set up.

Personally, if you go with pnc rather than model number, the info is usually spot on.

    Cheers,
    Chris.

Thanks Chris, yes that is the Product No. At least it makes it viable to do the recon.
