Although we have known about this event for some weeks it was felt that the information should be made available to the general public to hopefully explain what is happening with Lofra products in the UK.
The UK importer/distributor of the Lofra range, New Wave Cooking Co. Ltd ceased trading in January of 2007 leading to problems with spares and service on Lofra products.
In a recent letter sent to all existing service agents for the brand, the following was explained.
“As you will be aware New Wave Cooking Co Ltd has ceased being the distributor of the Lofra brand. As from 01.02.07 the new appointed distributors of Lofra products are PAB Ltd.
PAB Ltd will be confirming their appointment directly with you in the coming days. However if you need to contact PAB Ltd there details are:

So Premium Appliance Brands will now be the official UK distributor of the Lofra brand in the UK.
As yet there is no clarity on whether or not existing warranties will be honoured or when spares will be available for Lofra machines, primarily range cookers.
This is presenting problems and, at this time, spare parts for Lofra are EXTREMELY hard to acquire.
