    😡

Well, the website is annoying, and the mediator on there doesn’t give you any genuine part numbers, so what’s the point in using Electrue now?

    No problem at all.

Tried mediator with Crosslee and Servis. All genuine numbers even on parts search

Give your area rep a shout.

Cheers, but I’ve never had/seen one :con:

The point is, that all these systems are online, what if I have no internet access? It doesn’t happen often, but what if it does?

Speak to your rep and if you push them they will turn on genuine no’s. I got it changed after about a week of using it. They just try and swerve if they can. I find it a really good site where you can find info on brands not available elsewhere. Wolesley could do with following their example. If you don’t have Internet access (Broadband) then your living in the dark ages. Micheal

    Re: “Your Connections has expired!”

Electrue are good because they stock alot of the hard to find spares, but if you don’t have another supplier to compare them to, and if you don’t keep an eye on them, they will screw you to the wall! 😯

IMHO they are the most immoral supplier to our trade :stir: Check out Masterpart at the same time, and qualtex are good for your ‘everyday’ bits!

    Re: “Your Connections has expired!”

We have laptops loaded with Connections, Partfinder, SIOS, TDS, an our own parts. This arrangement seems to work well and for most of the spares you may need not to mention the advantages of wiring and cam charts in the case of SIOS and TDS and exploded schematics of the other stuff. It can also make the difference between getting a job or loosing and job in my experience.

If you wanted you could also use a GPRS connection with a mobile to obtain stock information with connections whislt in the clients home saving time and money on subseqeunt telephones to make arrangements. Laptops have come down in price and are TAX deductable with the software being the ongoing outlay.

I would be lost without my laptop.
