    Hi

    I’m having a problem with my Zanussi in that it isn’t running the drying cycle at all and the water isn’t getting very hot – probably not even to lukewarm.

    I’d be grateful for any advice/suggestions before I call in the engineer.

    50/50 shot on this one – either heater or control board will be at fault.

    Basically the same appliance. Power off is investgating please.

    Have looked at the PCB and it is pretty obvious that this is where the fault lies as there is a bit(!) of a scorch mark 😯 . Anyhow, the problem seems to be a dry solder joint, which we can fix. Hopefully the relay hasn’t suffered as well….

    Thanks a lot for your help – sounds mad but without this site we wouldn’t even have looked for the problem, just called out an engineer.
