The rear shaft has sheared off the drum on this machine, it has also cut through the Polypenco rear bearing and broken the belt. The tub front seal has been cut as well. As this one appears to run on the rollers at the front, what do I need to order to sort out the mess?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

Don’t think this model has rollers on the front Chris, just nylon pads and seal?

From your description you will need: –

    1703339 Front Felt Seal
    1702755 Bearing Pads (x4)
    1703080 Drum Shaft/rivets
    1703078 Rear Felt seal
    1702879 Stretch Belt

…plus rear bearing (there are 2 types) early 1703014 square bearing or late teardrop shaped type 1703436

    HTH?

The drum shaft kit should come with the later, square phosper bronze bush in place of the plastic one, but not the teardrop one.

Spooky or what? Today my first call, VTD00P that I thought (speaking to my customer on the phone) was just like a broken belt required? I get there to find the drum shaft has collapsed, ripped into the back panel taking chunks out of the vents and the foam seal etc etc, what a bl**dy mess!!

Only 13 months old this heap of cr&p is too 🙄 Looks like I need a good van stock of bits for these machines, lovely jubbly 😀

Now we know why they call it a ‘teardrop’ bearing. 😥
