    Looking for a Service manual for a Hotpoint 8596 fridge freezer.

    If no-one has a copy to hand it’s part number 5400460 from Hotpoint, about £16 though 🙁

    John,

    I’m looking to build a test rig for the PCB so I need a wiring diagram,
    values of the Temp sensors resistance etc.

    The two PCB’s I’am working on have damage to the board from 3 x 330 ohm
    resistors that look to be over heating.

    This is the early Mistral Model and I have The full manual. Do you need all 30 pages or Just fault dagnosis and circuit diagrams (6 pages )?.

    The board is usually darkened in this area. Have they charred it? Have you searched the postings under mistral or 8596? plenty of info there. 🙂

    Walnut, I have sent you a copy of the manual for the ff71 range. I think that you will find that the wiring diagrams are the same
