ParticipantHi – Hoping someone can assist.
Have an integrated washer -brand unknown. Stopped mid cycle – didn’t drain all of the water but some of it.
Checked:
Fuse
Plug
Drainage pipe for kinks – and have emptied the remaining water by disconnecting the hose.
Cleaned out filter
Have taken off the top and looked for an loose wires.Washer is fairly new – hasn’t played up before.
When swithed on – the ‘on’ light is lit up – I know there is power coming through (managed a small shock so sure this is the case without a meter!) and turning the dial to different cycles has no affect – no water starts to fill – nothing at all.
Is there anything else I can check before having to call in a service man to look at it. I’ve also checked the switchboard to see if anything had tripped – and all is ok
Help! I’ve got no clean clothes!!
Cheers

KeymasterHi Dean,
We’ll need a make and model at thevery least to help. Try searching about on the kickplate or the actual machine door to give us a clue.

Hi – thanks for the response.
I’ve tried all over to see a make or model name – and ca’t actually believe that there is not one – but there isn’t any branding on this unit at all.
We moved into this house and the kitchen looks like it was done recently – the other unit – dishwasher is a Diplomat.
I found a barcoded serial number on the side of the unit –
2000 44 11 060 014 103 003
With an S1/2000 4330 number beneath it – but didn’t think this could be of use?
Any advice?

It’s also a Diplomat made br Merloni (Servis).
It may be the drain pump which is here:

Power off when any cover removed please :zap: as you’ve discovered.
If you’re unsure on checking further or fitting, check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

Thanks Dave –
As the machine doesn’t do anything now when I move the dial -Not too sure on how I would check this and guess its time to call in an engineer –
Any ideas from anyone on what you can expect to pay for a call out – labour etc?
Appreciate the help – was hoping the problem was a minor one.

Labour varies quite a bit across the UK to be honest, best discussed locally with the repairer 🙂
